iLIFE was on hand as the ADA25 Legacy tour stopped at the Overture Center in Madison, Wisconsin June 25 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Hundreds of people from the Madison area and around the state turned out for live music, speeches from disability advocates and other exhibits.
One of the main attractions was "The Road to Freedom” ADA Bus, which served as a backdrop for many pictures. Noted disability rights photographer and Milwaukee native Tom Olin is the bus driver for the cross-country tour. Many of Olin’s photos from the disability rights movement were on display.
The Americans with Disabilities Act, signed in July 1990, guaranteed significant rights and sweeping protections to people with disabilities.
iLIFE proudly attended the event and will release a video and additional multimedia resources in July as part of our #ADA25 campaign.
